Becoming a Bakar Fellow was a turning point in Dr. Amy Herr’s already impressive professional career. For years, she was the Faculty Director of the Bakar Fellows Program and Bakar BioEnginuity Hub. Now, she is a Chan Zuckerberg (CZ) Biohub Investigator and CTO of the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network. And, of course, she is a beloved professor at UC Berkeley.
Among her other accolades, she is now Associate Editor of Lab on a Chip, a journal of the Royal Society of Chemistry which focuses on devices and applications at the micro- and nanoscale. Her most recent Lab on a Chip papers are now available here.
